In Argentina, besides the highly evolved social life of the Slovenian community of 48 associations and schools, on the initiative of the Slovenian Global Business Network (SGBN), the Slovenian-Argentine Chamber of Commerce came to life this year. The SLOAR, whose president is Mr Martin Križ, unites companies of emigrants and descendants with Slovenian roots, which in terms of success belong to the very top of the Argentine economy. Highly technologically developed companies present on world markets are a pillar of Slovenianness in this South American country.
During the period of Martinovanja, a business conference and presentation of Slovenian-Argentine companies, activities of SGBN and SLOAR, and companies from the Slovenian Primorka region will be held in Mendoza, the wine centre of Argentina.
The business meeting, which will take place on the afternoon of November 18, 2022, is organized by the Slovenian-Argentine Chamber of Commerce and the Slovenian Global Business Network (SGBN).
