In a global business world, there must be global exchanges of knowledge. On May 22, the State Technical Institute of Žiga Zois from Trieste, Italy, with the help of the SDGZ/URES, hosted a representative of the Brazilian school Escola do Sebrae.
“We already had a concrete meeting in the morning, at which we agreed in principle on the exchange for the next school year for students and professors. In this way, we will share different didactic methodologies with our Brazilian colleagues,” said principal Maja Lapornik, who is convinced that this is the right direction in which the school’s educational and didactic offer should grow.
Sebrae School was represented by Principal Fabiana Pinho and Head of Entrepreneurship Education Program Thiago Morais. They explained that Sebrae (Serviço Brasileiro de Apoio às Micro e Pequenas Empresas) is a non-profit organisation that supports micro and small businesses in Brazil, and also has a school in the city of Belo Horizonte (the capital of the state of Minas Gerais), where they come from.

The idea of the international business internship was supported by the Slovenian Global Business Network and the program is being executed by SDGZ/URES with a help of the Government Office for the Slovenians Abroad.
