The internationally renowned Slovenian economist Egon Zakrajšek, who is currently a senior adviser at the Basel Bank for International Settlements (BIS), will return to a high position at the Federal Reserve in Boston, which is part of the US central bank, in early autumn. After four years, Zakrajšek will thus return to the United States and to the Federal Reserve system, where he previously worked for 25 years and performed responsible duties in the division for monetary affairs in Washington.
