Yesterday, the representatives of the partner chambers of commerce from Argentina (SLOAR) and Brazil (SLOBRAZ) met in São Paulo, Brazil. The bilateral meeting with the Vice President of SLOAR Mr Tone Oblak, the President of SLOBRAZ Mr Matjaž Cokan, the President of the Slovenian Society in Brazil Dr Boris Krajnc, and Dr Štefan Bogdan Barenboim Šalej from SGBN was very productive. The topics discussed included business in both countries, as well as chamber activities, the interactive online business map, and the student exchange program which is being executed by SDGZ from Trieste, Italy.
The Slovenian community in Argentina has 42 different societies. The SLOAR was established just a year ago with the full support of SGBN, also the organiser of yesterday’s meeting.
