Slovenia – a green, creative, and smart country in the heart of Europe and home to NBA megastar Luka Dončić – will present its investment, business and tourism opportunities to the American business audience.
On April 6, the Business Investment Conference will be held, where numerous outstanding speakers will present the business and investment environment in Slovenia and Dallas, highlight opportunities for business partnerships, and present examples of business practices of Slovenian companies already operating in the U.S. market. This is a great opportunity to meet Slovenian companies at one-to-one business meetings and network with representatives from 24 Slovenian companies from various industries: IT, Biotechnology, Viticulture, Pharmaceuticals, Management Consulting, Finance and Banking, Tourism, Manufacturing, Marketing, Insurance and Motorcycle Industry.
Later in the day, the Slovenian tourism workshop will be held, where 15 Slovenian tourism companies and destinations will present their offerings to U.S. tour operators and travel agents, including the capital city of Ljubljana as an attractive destination in all seasons. This will be followed by individual meetings between Slovenian and American destinations and companies. On Friday, April 7, the delegation of Slovenian companies will visit several American companies and hold business meetings with potential American business partners. The day will culminate with the I feel Slovenia Night at American Airlines Arena, taking place during the home game of the Dallas Mavericks vs. the Chicago Bulls. The event, organized by the Slovenian Tourist Board, together with the Government Communications Office (UKOM) and Ljubljana Tourism, will promote Slovenia on and near the court, during halftime and in the promotional and exhibition area. All eyes will be on the amazing Slovenian NBA player Luka Dončić, who is also the ambassador of Slovenian tourism.
