The value of Slovenian exports increased by 28 percent year-on-year in February

In February, Slovenia exported 4.6 billion euros worth of goods, which is 28.2% more than in February last year, according to data from the Statistical Office. During this period, the value of imports increased by 1.4%, to 4.2 billion euros. The coverage of imports with exports was 107.2% in February. Compared to last year’s average, the value of exports in February was higher by 3.5%, while the value of imports was lower by 10.2%. In February, exports to EU member states were 11.9% higher in value than in February last year, while imports were 0.8% higher.
In the first two months of this year, the value of Slovenian exports was higher by 29.8%, and the value of imports by 14%. In terms of value, exports to non-EU countries increased the most, namely by 72.7%.
