On 24 February 2023, in Kranjska Gora, on the initiative of SPIRIT Slovenia, the representatives of 17 Slovenian business clubs from around the world gathered at a conference and presented to Slovenian companies how they can help them penetrate foreign markets or when looking for foreign business partners or investors. The meeting was attended by more than 60 Slovenian companies, which also had individual conversations with their representatives.

SGBN was also present and its activities were presented by Anže Skodlar and Rober Andolšek.

The meeting was organized by SPIRIT Slovenija, which has intensively cooperated with Slovenian business clubs abroad since 2008 and co-finances the implementation of their activities through a public tender. During this time, they managed to create a branched network of clubs from all over the world, which offers help to Slovenian companies in entering or expanding their business in foreign markets, and to foreign companies in finding business partners in Slovenia.

Slovenian business clubs generally bring together representatives of Slovenian companies or Slovenian citizens living abroad who have been actively working in foreign markets for many years. They carry out many activities to help Slovenian companies in doing business in foreign markets: provide business information, advise on market entry and business, help find potential business partners and prepare business events and bilateral business meetings. Because they know the local business environment, business specifics, and customs very well, they have an extensive network of acquaintances, they generate a lot of knowledge, experience and information about doing business in the individual market, which is why they are an excellent support for Slovenian companies.
