Last year, Slovenia recorded a 5.4% increase in gross domestic product. In the first half of the year, the statistical office announced the growth of most GDP components was more pronounced than in the second half of the year. In the last quarter, the slowdown in activity continued. GDP increased by 0.2% year-on-year.
Both final consumption and gross investments contributed positively to growth in the whole of last year, while the contribution of the foreign trade balance was negative.
