Today, August 22, 2022, VTIS – Association of Slovenians Educated Abroad, together with the Cabinet of the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, organized a round table on the topic “Young people and the professions of the future – for a green and innovative Slovenia”. Among many other discussions, VTIS also presented the results of the research on the modernization of Slovenian higher education.
The event was attended by one of the founders of the Slovenian Global Business Network, Dr Štefan Bogdan Barenboim Šalej, who took the opportunity to meet with the State Secretary at the Office for Slovenians Abroad, Vesna Humar, the president of the Slovenian World Congress, Dr Boris Pleskovič, and a number of young Slovenian students studying abroad. In a conversation with the president of the VTIS Association, Kristi Hodak, Dr Šalej once again expressed his desire for cooperation between the VTIS and the Slovenian Global Business Network.
