On Monday, June 13, 2022, the representatives of Slovenian business and economic associations and chambers of commerce from 11 countries gathered to discuss how better connect the Slovenian business diaspora, how to help Slovenian entrepreneurs and companies who want to enter a foreign market, and what is needed to bring successful Slovenian business stories from abroad back to Slovenia.
Slovenian Business and Economic associations and entrepreneurs from all over the world attended: Slovenian Global Business Network, SDGZ-URES Slovensko deželno gospodarsko združenje-Unione regionale economica slovena from Italy, SGZ – Slovenska gospodarska zveza v Celovcu / Slowenischer Wirtschaftsverband Kärnten from Austria, The Slovene Dutch Business Platform – SDBP from Netherland, Slovenački poslovni klub from Serbia, Zveza Slovenskih klubov na Hrvaškem and SLO CRO Business Club from Croatia, SABA from USA, World Slovenian Congres from Slovenia, Consul Honorary in Lyon and entrepreneurs from South Africa, Colombia, and United States of America.

The illustrious presence, including H.E. Bernarda Gradišnik and her colleagues from the Department for Bilateral Economic Cooperation I at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, concluded that there is a lot of untapped potential in the area of networking opportunities for Slovenian business and commercial chambers, associations, and business people around the world, and they were unanimous in putting their words into practice.
