Yesterday, April 12, 2022, a second virtual meeting was held on economic integration with Slovenians around the world and among them. The interest in such cooperation was expressed at the introductory meeting, which took place on the initiative of the Minister for Slovenians Abroad, dr Helena Jaklitsch.

The purpose of this meeting was to continue talks between representatives of Slovenian chambers of commerce and business organizations around the world with important economic institutions in Slovenia. Special emphasis was placed on the presentation and exchange of views on the possibilities of formalizing cooperation according to the model of the Alps Adriatic Chambers Association (NAAN), presented to the participants by the Executive Director of the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr Mitja Gorenšček. The meeting was attended by presidents and members of Slovenian chambers of commerce around the world, namely the Slovenian Economic Association in Klagenfurt, the Slovenian Regional Economic Association in Trieste, the Slovenian Argentine Chamber of Commerce, the Slovenian-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (Slobraz), Slovenian Global Business Network, and Canadian-Slovenian Chamber of Commerce.
