Within a monthly virtual program “Slovenian Businesswomen Around the Globe”, the Slovenian Global Business Network hosted the Slovenian young entrepreneur Rhea Nina Klanšek, who grew up between New York and Silicon Valley. Rhea is an applied neuroscientist in the field of Brain-Computer Interfaces, currently founding a start-up for biosensory eyepieces and brain data visualization.
The founder of Neuro-Bootcamp (Neuroscience Innovation Network) and Neuro Dynamix, Rhea has developed bio-signal cloud processing and neuromarketing research.
The topic was the transition from academic to entrepreneurial – neuroscience. How to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset from an early age, bring innovation from the lab to the real world. How to combine science, art and business, and create an environment of innovation. Rhea also received President Obama’s Academic Excellence for Education. And as an ASEF (American Slovenian Education Foundation) student, she will research biomedical signal processing, sensor fusion and virtual reality research at the University of Wyoming in the United States.
