In “Slovenian Businesswomen Around the Globe” we hosted a Slovenian businesswoman living between New York and Ljubljana, Ms Lucia Lučka Klanšek, M.Sc.
Ms Klanšek is an investor, consultant, mentor, ambassador of women’s entrepreneurship and, most importantly, a proud mother of her son Nik and a daughter Rhea Nina, both successful entrepreneurs. Ms Klanšek, an ambitious entrepreneur with a lot of experience in doing business abroad, emphasized that women in the company have to stick together and help each other.
Ms Klanšek has founded and run many successful companies in Slovenia and in the USA, including Startup Nektar, Easy 4 Busy and LLK, an investment advisory agency. Her E4B inventions were published in Forbes magazine, The New York Times. She was also invited to participate in several American television shows. For the development of her project Foundation 4 You Foundation, she received the Decade of Women award from the Women’s Economic Forum.
Ms Klanšek graduated from Harvard Business School, at Program for Entrepreneurs and Presidents (OPM). She is currently working on a doctorate on “Development of women’s entrepreneurship through various political and economic circumstances in Slovenia”.
