At the traditional reception in the Presidential Palace, hosted by the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, for Slovenes working abroad, on December 26, 2021, Dr Kaja Antlej received the VTIS of The Year 2021 award. The “Dr Uroš Seljak Award”, given by ASEF together with the University of Ljubljana, was presented to the public for the first time. The video of the ceremony is available here.

The winner, Dr Kaja Antlej, is Senior Lecturer in Industrial Design and CADET Virtual Reality Lab Researcher – Museums/Heritage at the School of Engineering, Deakin University. She is also a President of the Slovenian Australian Academic Association, a member of VTIS and ASEF Professor, due to her connecting and dedicated work she performs very engaged and professionally with an exceptional sense of promoting Slovenian knowledge, culture and art.
